it takes a whole village

less than 12 hours to the festival.

It’s 11:24 PM on Friday, April 24th. The energy is palpable in Austin. 100 days ago we set off to build a stage for the next generation of storytellers. Little did we know, but the following months would be the most difficult we would ever encounter —quite literally building a plane while flying it.

Yet here we are, less than 12 hours away from the festival and there’s nothing that can beat this feeling.

The Camp Film Festival has been a pure labor of love from hundreds of people that poured their souls into these projects together. From crew members, organizers, volunteers, creatives —each person has poured a piece of themselves into this project. A collage tied together by the shared desire to pave a new path for filmmaking.

We wanted to use this as an opportunity to say thank you to those who have followed along the journey the past three months. Whether we see you this weekend or see you on the digital premiere —thank you.

Thank you for being here, believing in, and supporting the rise of this new wave of filmmaking.

See you on the other side!
